Polyurethane foam filling a void underneath concrete

Start with the problem

Empty space underneath the slab.

Soil settlement and washout can leave empty spaces below a slab. A concrete surface may look intact while support beneath it has changed. We assess the slab and use targeted polyurethane injection to fill suitable voids and support the concrete.

What we look for.

Every slab gets an assessment before a repair is recommended.

Gaps beside slabs

Visible openings near the edge can indicate loss of material beneath the concrete.

Washout near downspouts

Water can remove soil. Filling a void and correcting ongoing drainage are separate parts of the solution.

Support before movement

Some slabs need support as well as lifting. We confirm the goal before injecting material.

For your slab-support estimate

Show any visible space beneath the slab and the surrounding ground. Let us know where water enters or soil has washed away. The extent of the void and access determine how the support work is assessed.

See the pricing factors, read the cost guide, or compare lifting and replacement.

Void filling & slab support questions.

Is void filling the same as lifting?

They are related but have different goals. Void filling supports the concrete; lifting also changes its elevation. We select the approach for the slab and desired result.

Can you fill a void without raising the slab?

That may be possible depending on the slab and the void. We plan the injection and monitor the concrete to control movement.

Will foam stop the cause of soil washout?

Foam fills suitable spaces below the concrete. Leaking utilities, downspouts, erosion, or other ongoing causes may need separate correction.

Can you assess commercial slabs?

Yes. We discuss the load, access, slab condition, and working area before recommending a support or lifting scope.
